The Devon is a classic model, and this unit has taken abuse from all types of weather from the panhandle of
Florida, across Texas and Oklahoma, to Ontario, Canada.
This greenhouse is extremely versatile. Neither beginning gardeners or experts will be
disappointed whether they use this greenhouse for extending the growing season or for
year-round gardening.
The philosophy at Essex Greenhouses is to produce a top quality
greenhouse at a fair price. The unit should be able to withstand both
wind and snow loads and be constructed for ease of assembly by the
customer. The unit should include the essential equipment within the
unit price. The greenhouse includes the base frame, which is an
integral part of the unit. The air exhaust system is also included. In
extreme climates this is a necessity both to help control temperature
build-up and provide good air flow for the plants. The system consists
of a shutter fan, a motorized vent (or vents depending on greenhouse
size), and a thermostat. All parts are top of the line manufactured by
Schaefer Ventilation Equipment.
Features
- Mill finish aluminum construction.
- Double sliding doors, opening to 47”. This allows for easy access and midsummer venting.
- Shatter-resistant
polycarbonate 6MM twin-wall for more efficient heating control along
with a higher degree of safety. UV protected on the outside and carries
a ten-year guarantee against yellowing.
- All glazing is pre-taped from the factory. Panels are ready to use from the box.
- Powered exhaust system consisting of a fan motorized wall vent(s) and a thermostat
- Fan and vent(s) are sized to give a good airflow through the greenhouse.
- Eave
height is 5-foot. This gives plenty of working room inside the
greenhouse without having to stoop. This also allows more room for
shelving.
- All greenhouses include a comprehensive assembly
manual along with a DVD showing each stage of assembly along with an
800 toll free help line.

Warranty
Devon Greenhouses come with a
ten-year warranty on the frame against decline due to faulty
workmanship. The polycarbonate also carries a ten-year warranty against
